The Veterinary Specialist Institute "Požarevac" is the National Reference Laboratory of the Republic of Serbia for the detection of trichinella in the meat of domestic and wild animals.
As a national reference laboratory VSI "Požarevac" cooperates with a European institution in this field, both from the aspect of successful participation in the PT schemes and in the professional development of our staff, as well as with National Reference Laboratories in our country and region.
